]]> http://camibphotography.com/blog/?feed=rss2&p=1109 1 Goin' to the Garden, and we're – gonna get ma-a-aried! http://camibphotography.com/blog/?p=1105 http://camibphotography.com/blog/?p=1105#comments Sun, 07 Nov 2010 22:27:56 +0000 Cami http://www.camibphotography.com/?p=1105 Congrats to my new friends Kelley and Jason.  Ok, so I’ve only met them on a couple of occasions, but after last night I feel like I could totally be friends with these two.  I had the privilege of photographing their wedding last night down in Ybor City.  The day started out at the Don Vicente (where I found Kelley singing “Goin’ to the Garden and we’re….gonna get ma-a-aried!”)  then we took the trolley down to the park for the ceremony, and ended the evening at The Gardens for the reception.  I started the day thinking they would be all nervous but thought it was funny how – as I spent time with each of them individually before the wedding – they both uttered the same phrase…”let’s do this!”   Do you remember in the movie Sleepless in Seattle how the little girl said they were M-F-E-O?  Well, Kelley and Jason are definitely M-F-E-O.  :)

The first time I met up with them, Jason wasn’t feeling 100% – but let me tell you, I just about died during his toast speech to his new bride.  He was so funny – I loved how he made Kelley smile, blush and laugh out loud.  Kelley was so stunning (knew she would be) and just a classic bride.  Here are some of my favorite images from last night.  Thank you again Kelley and Jason – for letting me be a part of your big day!

So on to a few pics from tonight’s shoot.  Here are a few of my faves.  They included their two dogs in the shoot, and it was no secret that Zoe the bulldog stole my heart.  Anyone that knows me knows I love dogs – and this little porkchop was SO cute.  How can you not love that face?

After the dogs retired to the air conditioning – I got some shots of the daughter.  Stunning girl.  She is going to break more than a few hearts…guar-an-teed.

]]> http://camibphotography.com/blog/?feed=rss2&p=827 1 At the park with "E" http://camibphotography.com/blog/?p=569 http://camibphotography.com/blog/?p=569#comments Sat, 19 Jun 2010 19:40:25 +0000 Cami http://www.camibphotography.com/?p=569 What a great morning…birds were singing, sun was shining…and I got to work with this lovely family.  Honestly – what a beautiful family.  The purpose of the shoot was to get “E’s” 1 year pictures, but we got some great shots of mom and dad in there too.  I loved their choice of clothing – the blue, turquoise, green combo was awesome.  We did, however, change E into a little dress that happened to go perfectly with this sweet little red and pink bench I found while wandering the store yesterday.  I am so happy I found that – I think it really makes for wonderful photos (well, that and the fact that the little one is so cute!).  Love the picture of her puckering her little lips…it is cracking me up!

Thank you to this family – I thoroughly enjoyed my morning with you!!

]]> http://camibphotography.com/blog/?feed=rss2&p=511 3 Newborn Sweetie-pie http://camibphotography.com/blog/?p=507 http://camibphotography.com/blog/?p=507#comments Sat, 22 May 2010 15:13:18 +0000 Cami http://www.camibphotography.com/?p=507 Baby Ava arrived into the world over 2 weeks ago and I was so fortunate that Shannon asked me to photograph her sweet little bundle of joy.  I love babies so being able to photograph them is very special.  Now, little Miss Ava was 13 days old – and very alert.  She never did sleep during the course of the shoot – even after a meal (or two).  So unfortunately we weren’t able to get some of the shots that I had planned on.  She didn’t want her legs tucked up, didn’t want to lay on her belly.  sigh….well, aside from her not agreeing with my M.O. I think we got some great shots anyway.  It even looks like she’s sleeping in a couple of them.  She’s not – those were blinks.  :)

Shannon and Nick – thank you so much for sweating it out with me.  These are a few of my favorites – I hope you’ll love them as well!
